The Sheep Project

Sheep herd

As part of the Green Culture adopted by Red Lands Roses, sheep were introduced to cut down on the time, gas and oil used to trim the grass.

The project thrilled all employees and birth after birth, our flock is now over 300 heads. They graze peacefully daily under the supervision of a shepherd who moves with them from one place to the other and tries to prevent them from entering a greenhouse! Interestingly, we have observed that roses seem very palatable to sheep! When Christmas time comes, our welfare society team slaughters some for for the end of year party.
