Reporting to Ferti-Irrigation Manager and in his absence to production Manager
The candidate will be responsible of the following;
i.) To ensure efficient execution of all Ferti-irrigation and water management related tasks to support crop production to achieve the required quality, quantity within the set time at sustainable cost.
ii.) In co-ordination with Ferti-Irrigation Manager be responsible for the management of the daily Ferti-irrigation, according to the weather conditions and the plants development stages.
iii.) Produce accurate reports (daily work plan, weekly and monthly report) and
iv.) Carry out effective performance reviews for all general workers working under.
v.) In co-ordination with Ferti-Irrigation manager be responsible for the maintenance of irrigation equipment (i.e. Pumps, Filters Probes etc.…)
Bsc. Degree preferably in Agricultural engineering, soil and water Engineering or Bio-Mechanical Engineering.
He/She should have minimum 1 year hands on experience in drip irrigation systems in a commercial farm set up.
Experience in hydroponics is an added advantage.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Access and Excel
Strong communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Keen to details with high observation skills
Available 6 days a week including Sunday
